Dear Students and Parents,

Due to recent requests, we have started a new class, called "Little Ninjas"

Little Ninjas

For students aged three to five years, Little Ninjas is a great opportunity to introduce your children to the discipline of karate through fun and games, while also developing their fitness, discipline, courtesy and self-respect. Shihan Phillips personally teaches this class and monitors the development and progress of the children.

As a parent, Shihan Phillips understands that many children do not like to loose sight of mum or dad, but we would like you to treat this class as if you were dropping the kids off to kindy. We want the kids to feel that this is their special class, where big people aren't allowed in.

Once the children have completed this class, they will be awarded with a certificate and a medal and will then be able to move to a more advanced class where they can take their training to the next level.

We will have open days for parents to view classes, but please be mindful to show respect to the children as they train and learn in the dojo: Parents will be able to view the class (quietly) from the reception area.

Dojo Etiquette

• No food or drink in class please (excepting bottled water, if needed)
• Clothing for the class will be the Little Ninjas uniform (initially, comfortable shorts/tracksuit pants and a t-shirt will be fine)
• All students should have their finger nails and toe nails clipped before training
• If your child is sick, please do not send them to training, allow them to rest and recuperate. Sick (and potentially contagious) children will not be allowed in the dojo

Dear students, please note there will be irregular Kyokushin kai training from Monday, January 3, 2011 through to Friday, January 8, 2011.

During the week listed above, training will be held everyday from Monday through to Thursday, commencing at 6pm and finishing at between 7pm and 7:30pm.

There will also be beach training on Saturday, January 9, 2011, for those wishing to attend. Please contact Shihan Phillips for further details.
